By accessing or using Image Compression (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Our Service allows you to compress images locally in your browser. No image data is transmitted to our servers.

3. License & Usage

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal or internal business purposes. You agree not to (and not to allow others to) reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit the Service for any commercial purpose.

4. User Responsibilities

• You are solely responsible for the images you choose to compress.
• You must comply with applicable laws regarding the content of your images.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and all related software, design, text, graphics, and trademarks are owned by Image Compression or its licensors. No rights are transferred to you except as expressly set forth in these Terms.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) €100 or (b) the fees you have paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Image Compression, its affiliates, and their officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your violation of these Terms or applicable laws.

9. Modifications to Service & Terms

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time. We may also change these Terms; any changes will be effective upon posting. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising hereunder shall be brought exclusively in the federal or cantonal courts located in Zurich, Switzerland.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
